Clients wished for a family holiday home situated 200m from Linsfort Beach, Buncrana with a view to potentially relocating to same in future. Provision of natural light was important as well as connection to the beach and various walks. Our client requested enhancing the views over Lough Swilly.

We presented with 2 options. Option 1 was for a new home and garage. Option 2 consisted of alterations & extension to existing home and garage. Our clients choose the latter and we reconfigured the home and extended to design a modern family home with contemporary style. Accommodation includes floor to ceiling duplex style living with open plan living/kitchen/dining, utility, 4 ensuite bedrooms, bathrooms and a garage with games room. The views from the home are particularly stunning and we thought it was imperative to enhance these views and capture the magnificent sunsets. We designed eternal covered areas to front and side of dwelling to be used all year round with outdoor fireplace included in covered areas.
