Con Magees Glenravel GAC sought a long-term masterplan to guide the future development of their sports grounds, expanding training and playing facilities while creating a stronger sense of place for the wider community.

A growing brief, limited site area, and the need to phase development while maintaining day-to-day use.

We developed a clear and flexible masterplan incorporating two full-size grass pitches with spectator terraces, ball wall area, floodlighting, improved site access, car parking, a memorial garden, and a floodlit walking trail with seating and rest points. At the heart of the scheme is a new indoor sports arena, designed to accommodate a reception area, spectator space, changing rooms, handball courts, a strength and conditioning gym, a synthetic training/playing surface, and plant and storage facilities. The layout allows for phased delivery and long-term growth, carefully balancing performance, participation and place.
